Growing up in Wynne, Arkansas, Razorbacks legend Bettye Fiscus Dickey didn’t dream of playing women's basketball because they didn’t have it.

Born on July 20, , Fiscus was the daughter of Jack Daniels Fiscus, a farmer, and the Brooks Maddux Fiscus. She was one of four children, along with brothers Jack “Dan,” Martin and Al.
