Military Biography: General Ron Fogleman retired from the USAF on 1 September 1997 after thirty-four years of active commissioned service.

General Fogleman is an active pilot with an extensive background in fighters, mobility aircraft and general aviation.

Ronald Robert Fogleman was born on 27 January 1942.

A command pilot and a parachutist, he amassed more than 6, flying hours in fighter, transport, tanker and rotary wing aircraft. He flew combat missions and logged hours of combat flying in fighter aircraft. Eighty of his missions during the Vietnam War were as a "Misty FAC" in the FF Super Sabre at Phù Cát Air Base, South Vietnam between 25 December and 23 April ^[3]
